Son going into 4th grade, daughter into 1st. School district just notified it was "Excellent with Distinction" by state dept. of education, whatever that means. I know I won't have to watch two kids from 830-415 and that, friends, is the good news.

The lovely woman that gave birth to my kids has decided that they would be best served learning at home this year. So far, this has been a disaster. Anyone else do this? They do a program called K12. On-line based, but the parents are "learning coaches." meaning that there are lesson plans on line, and they send textbooks and microscopes, and supplies to our home. The lessons are taught on the computer, and we help at home when they hit a rough patch. They are supposed to be done for the day after about 5-6 hours. My kids have been plugging away til 8 at night every damn day cause they cant self motivate, I sleep during the day cause i work all night, and the wife works 3 days a week.
How the hell do I tell my wife I fucking hate this? I tried saying just that, but you know, she CANT be wrong.
Blah Blah Blah. Shut up and open the damn door. "It's ok Officer, I watch a lot of cop shows on tv, so i am practically one of you guys." - sadly, that didn't work. http://www.flickr.com/photos/jonno23/ All my photos suck.
