| | | G'day, Uexer from melbourne, australia. Mostly did rooftops up until very recently where i've started doing drains and abandos but I still prefer roofs, I just don't have the balls or enjoy the high risk of being caught anymore. You can see a lot of my explores on my instagram page but i'll post some full writeups once I figure out what the most appropriate place to post is. To many of you I'm still a noob, but I recently did my 50th spot, which I think is pretty solid for 6 months of exploring. Anyways, it's good to be here and hope to be able to add to the forum in a positive manner!

| | | Hey Urbexers, New guy here from North Texas. Been exploring pretty much all of my life in some capacity. My grandmother and aunt actually used to take me into abandoned homes in older ghost towns before I even hit the teenage years. My activity is pretty hit or miss, depending on my time. I never thought much to take photos of my journeys, so I don't have a lot of content to share. But, a renewed interest that sparked back up within the last year or two should get me out more. I've done the usual stuff; barns, houses, hotels, a few industrial spots, and a few ghost towns in and around North Texas. I grew up in a tiny, little farming town...so, i'm pretty comfortable with 'rural' exploration. The urban side of things is new to me, so I'm more out in the backroads and forgotten farms on the area. What else? I'm 40, married, twin toddlers, work in a computer nerd job (but want to get into either saving these old places from destruction or do something productive with them if they are going down). Former Army Desk-Jockey stationed in Virginia the entire time, where i did zero exploring. Visit New England quite a bit and hope to explore more out of state. (i actually got stung by wasps at an old barn in Branson, MO last summer and ten minutes later ran into a squatter living in a shell of a burned down house....crazy day) In any event, just wanted to give an intro and that I hope to have some great stuff to share soon. In the meantime, here are some pics of a church and it's piano (located in a next-door pavilion), which is all that remains of a former town. 1. 2.

| | | Hey guys. New member here, been exploring for quite some time. In the last couple years I've gotten a lot more serious about the photography aspect of things and keeping track of spots. I enjoy the thrill of the hunt, the serenity of the spaces, and imagining its past life. As an architect, I love the space of a place more than the small details of decay, which is why I'm not too infatuated by abandoned homes. Anything with relics or impressions of human activity is a huge plus, though, so I tend to rank industrial sites fairly low. Civic sites and churches are some of my favorites. At the end of the day, however, I'll explore pretty much anything. I'm also a big fan of anything outdoors, from backpacking, to SCUBA, to caving. I'm going to work on uploading to a flickr account soon, in the meantime, you can find me on instagram: https://www.instagram.com/pongooleboy/

| | | Hi! My name is Myah and I float around southern BC and Alberta! I have been snooping around sites for about 3 years now and am super excited to find out about more place to check out! I will say I'm a bit of a stickler for rules, but recently I've been dying to explore some ghost towns and the likes for a while now so if you have any info hit me up!! I also adore taking pictures, and just upgraded from the fabulous iPhone 3G camera (remarkable, right?) to a Nikon Coolpix (very high budget) and Im excited to share all of my nice, new, and slightly more professional looking photographs with everyone! My favourite spots to explore are old amusement parks (water parks, go kart tracks, fun houses and the like), ghost towns, and barns (these are plentiful in my neck of the woods). I also absolutely love places with interesting histories and I will spend hours researching before going on outings just to get even a few more inches of context!! If you want to chat, share pics, or even spread details feel free to drop me a line!
