Car shopping ........ again

Well the X5 broke a timing chain guide, that's what was causing it to run rough. Of course it's 25 hours labour all said and done! So by the time I get it back, sometime this or next week i'll have taken it in the ass somewhere between $4500 and $5500 ! That on top of the $650 alternator repair, $200+ for belts, $1500 for tires and still needing tires for the winter...
This thing is an animal to drive but I simply can't justify it any more. It's been a fun 20 months but i'm done. I'm shopping.....again !!!
I'm considering several options. Getting just one vehicle, or possibly 2.

On the list for single vehicles
Hummer H2
Escalade
Yukon Denali

For two vehicles
Audi TT Quattro(had one before) (2004 ish)
Lincoln Aviator or Navigator (2004 ish)
Yukon or Tahoe (basic - early 2000's)
Porsche Boxster 2000 (ish)
3 Series BMW 2002 ish (coupe or sedan - non convertible)
C Class Mercedes Benz 2002 ish
Audi A4 (had one before)

Kinda thinking something to haul/tow/winter + something fun to drive when i want

Any additional suggestions?!
Comments on any?
Ones i'm not familiar with that much would be the Lincolns, Boxster and the 3 series BMW. reliable? known issues?

my brother has a 2005 Chevy Tahoe Z71 (FULLY loaded) and other than the meh fuel economy, it's been very reliable. On a trip, there seems to be plenty of room. The 5.3L V8 is more than enough to move it around, transmission doesn't seem to fuck around looking for ranges. Only beef he has had with it was something in the security/ignition went... it's a resistor or something. He fixed it, but when it was fritzing, he would just wait for the security light to stop flashing and it would start.

other than that, it has held its value well.

I vote for a truck for your hauling needs and I am surprised as an Albertan you don't have one even

For the fun car...3 series BMW.

I'd go with a pickup truck for not a lot of money, something in the $5000 range. Then I'd buy a smaller sporty car. I'm a Miata fan, but I'd consider a Boxter in a second. Pick up a $12,000 Boxter and a $5000 pickup and I think you'll be set. For a truck, I'd look for an older Silverado. I've been a big fan of those trucks, and they're pretty much dead-nuts reliable.
