I'm located in Toronto, car is located in Peterborough (about 1.5h drive away).

My dad keeps asking to have his garage space back after storing my car for two years since I got my Jetta. I've been too attached to the car to get rid of it (and drove it for two weeks this August when my Jetta broke without any issues after being stored) but my dad keeps asking about when it's going to leave and saying I should send it to car heaven.

I can't imagine sending a car that runs great that I've spend 6 loving years with to be crushed, but I'm not finding any new owners for it...so, UER, maybe you can find my beloved Civic a new home.

It's an EG hatch. Put it up on Kijiji or Craigslist and it will be gone over the weekend at that price.

It's been up for a couple of months now on both. Craigslist just gets me scammers and Kijiji has only yielded people who ask if they can see it or want to know more but never respond. I've dropped the price for them too, just to give it a home.

My dad stopped by over the weekend and kept talking about "car heaven". I'd really like to see this car go to use since it runs and is a really great car, even if its appearance could use some work. I really don't want it to come to that.

Have you posted on Peterborough kijiji? I'm attending Grad School at Sir Sanford Fleming, and know of a few students looking for a cheap car...

I've got it on both...just reposted craigslist today with a bit lower of a price and kijiji I'm going to give the kid who claimed he was going to give me a time to buy it tomorrow until tomorrow when I'm home from school to repost the ad.

And don't worry about it being a lemon, lol. I've had the car for six years and held onto it even after I got my Jetta because I love that car so much. It's a great little car and super reliable! I've done three repairs on it in its life, and it was things that just break with age (CV shaft, gas tank and distributor).

This guy that claims he wants to buy it is really annoying. Last night he sent me another message saying that he wants to buy it tonight (last night) or tomorrow (tonight) so I asked which because I have to drive from Toronto. And he said he's going to ask his ride and get back to me (like the day before).

I'm getting really frustrated with how flaky people are...when it comes time to commit to a time to see/buy the car, everyone disappears.
