There is a video somewhere in cyberspace of my friend Dustin and I jumping about an '86 Z24. Convertible. It was pretty rotten, and after the landing, the convertible top came about 8 inches short of actually reaching the windshield frame.
Other noteworthy jumps I've done:
-Many K-Cars, various locations
-A '91 Caravan/sketchy raised bridge. The drivers door handle shifted down about a 1/4" after this, and disconnected the rod.
-'88ish Hyundai Excel. Shock towers separated from the car. End.
-'84 Accord. Shock towers MOSTLY separated after launch. It looked like a Stingray after. Sadly the driveaxles pulled apart right after.
-'93 Tercel during an all night rally. Lawn darted it after missing a note. Thought I broke the car in half, but just broke the welds on my seat frame. My co-driver's purse landed on the rear parcel shelf. It was at her feet.
-'01ish Focus. Broke to pieces after a really soft landing.
-'93 Tracker in a field. Thought I was dead. It went pretty well.
-Previously photographed Legacy. Various locations, but mostly on a purpose built ramp for flipping cars.
And the best? A 1987 Hyundai Pony GLS 1600.
Tried drifting on gravel at age 16... went wayyyy too fast, lost control, hit the concrete stairs in front of an abandoned church, rolled car into ditch, hitting a culvert with the passenger side, breaking both windows and nicely maiming all panels on that side of the car.
I drove it on the road for almost a year after that. That thing was a TOUGH car.
