For the shop truck, cant find the god damn thing anywhere except the dealer.

What I'm looking for is a driver side front brake line for a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7, with 2 wheel ABS.

The reason I refuse to order it from the dealership? It 765 effing dollars, which is absurd for a piece of metal and rubber hosing. An oil return line on a Lamborghini is cheaper.

765 is the price for the whole entire set.

You just want one individual brake line.

Just for 'fun' maybe check the same -or as close as they make- part for a GM or Ford, same year. This may or may not show the awesomeness of the Dodge. (Sorry as you may read, I'm barely holding back the sarcasm) The Cummins is a good engine though.

Seems early for failure, but Quebec/harsh winters mess things up. Also check the same part price in another province/dealer, just to make sure you aren't being taken for a ride. As said, some after market place should have it.

It's to pass inspection, and they deemed the line unsafe because it had a rub mark on it. Anyways I convinced some one to let me swap the brake line off their dodge ram onto this one so all has been solved.
