I dig the rich corinthian leather.

Honestly the Dart looks pretty uninspiring. Like a Kia Forte/Mitsu Lancer/Mk6 Jetta/Every other sub $20k car made today

If you think Mopar is goofy work on an international. The engineering in those damn trucks is completely ass backwards compared to any other manufacturer.

Id like to test drive the Dart and see how they are. Like the charger though it will not stack up to the original in any way, shape, or form.

I have worked on an international navistar cab before...and it's why we send it to a diesel shop now for repairs.

No, it was cool. I just figured I didn't need to mention that VW's offerings made me happy because everyone here knows that.

They didn't even have a Routan on display which was funny.

Fair enough. Let's agree that all the lineups for all us brand fan boys are making us happy.

And as for the Routan; apparently there might be a 11th hour plan to perhaps renew the Chrysler deal on that pending on the plans for the 30th anniversary Caravan revamp in 2013-2014.

I sure hope not, it's such a shit deal, especially for dealerships and techs- Chrysler won't pay ANY diagnostic time if a Routan is in for warranty repair, and it's not like they're compatible with our diagnostic software either, we have a Starmobile scanner.

So say I have to find where a water leak is coming from and drop the headliner to see if it's coming in above the windshield... I don't get paid for that time.

And they come in with a lot of strange problems.

It maybe a shit deal, but VW wants a van for US/Canada in its lineup and doesn't want to redevelop any European models as my understanding. They are looking at ways at improving the agreement when its up soon. I have a feeling differing on how the redesign for the 30th Anniversary Caravans goes, you might see a vehicle with more VW-specific features on the same platform. VW wants 5% of the market, but the problem is that consumers are looking at the Routan and going "Oh, Chrysler makes this? Well, lets just go get a Caravan at a Dodge Dealer!" And the situation is worse in Ontario because something like all 400 Routans in 2011 were sold in Canada were in Ontario...

As for the warranty issue; this is what I know: VW and then the former DalmlerChrysler intitally agreed on apparently letting VW handle the warranty guarantee as they wanted to have a uniform warranty on all its lineup. I think this might of gotten revised during the Chapter 11 sale to Fiat, but I am not sure since there was a lot of stuff changed around. Since I know you don't work for free on the Routans, is even VW paying you for the work at all?
