Wait. Video?!
I thought you have flac audio files?

This is how I did mine, ages ago, before I gave up on FLAC altogether.

FLAC for video? To me FLAC (Fee Lossless Audio Codec) files would only be audio. That us unless it really is a video that happens to be using the FLAC codec for the audio portion of the video.

I run an old version of Winamp and would have to add a flac plugin to play FLAC (audio) files but I would guess moden versions of Winamp might support flac audio by default. If you're trying to use flac for video, I confused on exactly what's going on...

Hmm, never tried rar knife. This would be my process of it was me:

-Extract the .rar using 7Zip or WinRar (7zip becoming pretty dominant these days).
-Know if the program you'd like to play the FLAC's in supports flac. E.g. google 'winamp version x.xx flac support'. If you your version of audio player can handle flac, then you're good to go. If not, there is a flac plugin for winamp out there, but as I mentioned above newest versions of winamp *might* come with flax support.

It's either 1 of two issues. You're process for extracting the files from the RAR archives isn't working right and the files you get are messed, or that your player cannot handle flac files currently. (or it's just a junk download or corrupted download from the very beginning -- if that was the case the RAR would probably fail to extract th

If you've successfully used Rarknife in the past and never had problems, that's probably not the problem, but I've never used it myself, so I dunno. If you trust your unrar'ing process, then the issue is in the playback of the flac files. if you're having problems with that, I'd reccommend downloading VLC (from VideoLAN). VLC is more of an video player, but it just play 'everything' and i'm sure can haandle flac files just fine.

I'm pretty sure those are just audio files. The file sizes aren't right for video.

Plus, from what I've read, video with FLAC audio would be in an Ogg container. So, it would use a .ogv extension instead of a .flac.

FLAC is audio format, not video. You can to convert it to any other AUDIO format with Winamp. Just right click on title from playlist Send to: > Format Converter
