I will look at that. I know where my "vitriol" is coming from though. If I'm willing to break down other people, I'm equally willing to do so to myself.

It started with the OWS thread in the politics sub forum. I developed a strong dislike of him through the opinions he voiced. But on this thread, I attacked something that I saw as flawed. His defense of that flawed thought along with my preexisting dislike resulted in a full out attack.

The other side is displaced anger around authority, and those who stand for it.

And besides, pretty much society's only purpose is to tell people what they can and cannot do. That's what it is for. Of course, a fair bit of the time it causes the crazys, but that's why we have the internet... so that we can get rid of our crazys by attacking young girls.

I disagree that society purpose is telling people what to do. I see society as a mass of agreements. The problem is that not everyone agrees, and we force what we think is right on other people.

But as far as internet goes, you are quite correct. The dreamer in me wishes this was not the case. That we could all just be direct about what is going on for us without the need to attack people.

And yes, I see the hypocrisy in the above statement.

Why would you post this? The little girl had some good points, but it's still not relevant to this. Also, I may be the only only one on this, but it makes me really uncomfortable to have a child explain to me that casual sex is great.

And I thought how fantastic it was that she has a natural and healthy understanding of sex.
