Has anybody seen this yet? You really won't believe what you're watching till you do...



Looks like it could be fun...or just fskced up. Probably so fskced up I'll go see it or at the very least rent it.

I couldn't believe that it was actually a REAL movie.

I don't know if this movie will ever hit the US.

I managed to get my paws on a copy...it was different. It's really easy to tell it's not a US made standard. There are elements that would make it a hard sell in the US and it would need some very heavy editing, but all in all, I honestly liked it.

It's worth a watch. Seriously. I really thought it was something completely stupid, but honesty, I liked it.

It has already debuted in the US. It was at South by Southwest back in March.

It isn't going to be released in theatres though. The british DVD came out a month or so ago, and there is a distribution deal for the Official American release maybe in August.

Pretty easy to find if you go with a torrent.

I saw it a couple weeks ago. Good movie, pretty anti-american though.

there is a hysterical ode to the Hitler meme in the beginning of the movie... its awesome!

My whole issue with it is the black into white thing.

That's the big no sell for the whole thing. I mean "The Great Dictator" and "To Be Or Not To Be", and even "The Producers" had similar things dealing with it. But I think that's the whole problem with it. I don't think it's the whole Hitler thing that we have a huge problem with as a country.

At least as far as I saw it. The whole "Albiniserum" thing. That's what would cause the most outrage. Forget the stupid Sarah Palin look alike bullshit or the Anti-Americanist crap. We've had movies with that sort of shit in it before, it's the slighting of minorities that would cause the most trouble as far as I'm concerned.

Honestly, the entire thing reminded me of "Idiocracy" for some dumb reason. It just felt that way to me.
