Another new car! The Lumina was looking like a future of one annoying problem after another (and it still doesn't run right), so I got a chance at what I think is a good deal and took it.

It's a 2000, 4.3 V6, automatic transmission. 130k miles, and the clearcoat is peeling and it's just starting to rust and the guy who used to have it weighed 380 pounds and the driver's seat springs are shot, BUT:

I'm the second owner, it was bought new by the company I bought it from and maintained on schedule by the same mechanic for its entire life. Fresh oil change and new battery (paid for by the selling company and installed this afternoon), new ball joints and steering box last October. It has working A/C, power windows, power locks, and keyless entry. Runs nice and quiet and drives well.

my mum had a 2000 S10 extended cab 4x2, but hers was the 2.2L with a 5gear. Put some weight in the box and it would go alright in the snow. Only thing with the S10 was the front end was kind of a pain in the ass. Still, even though she had no problems with the truck, she traded for an 04 Silverado.
