I drove past this location, and noted the state of the property. An abandoned house and an abandoned barn. A few weeks later, I went with a friend to check it out and as we rounded the corner we noticed the state of the property was slightly different; there was an abandoned house, and and an abandoned barn that was most assuredly on fire. Flames just golfing, if you will ;) I think three firetrucks, an ambulance, and a cruiser or two were on the road, so we pulled over and watched it all go for a few minutes, before deciding we might be better off trying a different day. I assume they just it go from the looks of it, although the silos mostly survived and it didn't spread to the house. The house was empty and in a moderate state, nothing really to catch the eye. The barn might have been the most interesting thing to see, with what I assume were livestock pens in lowest level. This was a couple years ago, and I think when I drove by last the house was now gone as well, although it was dark, so maybe I just missed it 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. And another ruin across the field, also with signs of fire at one point

You always find something if you look, it's just not always quite what you were looking for
I love the single dormer and the gothic arch.

Awesome shots, I love the perspectives you use- especially the last one!
"Sorry, I didn't know I'm not supposed to be here," he said, knowing full well he wasn't supposed to be there.

It's a full door up there, you can walk right out onto what used to be a balcony. Didn't try it, hand rails were gone and I thought I would go right through if I put weight on it

I can confirm that this location is gone, it burnt down in July. Attached is an archived news article about it, which includes photos of the house post fire. https://archive.ph/4oUVr

It is always a sad occurrence when a building gets arsed.
I will stop procrastinating tomorrow...
