What's a pump station, are they good for draining? I've been seeing them on City Public-Works maps for a while now...

They're exactly what they say on the tin. Pump stations are usually small buildings built to house pumps for moving large amounts of water. That can be clean water, stormwater, or sewage depending on the system. Sometimes they are attached to large diameter drains, but beware cameras since there's usually some pretty expensive machinery inside a pump station.
"Sorry, I didn't know I'm not supposed to be here," he said, knowing full well he wasn't supposed to be there. | |
It's a station where you can get a good pumping.

trespassing in or on to a pump station property is a federal offense and many cities and municipalities will prosecute. You and all others on UER will have no reason to be in or around a pump station, there are so many moving parts inside that can kill, maim or electrocute you it won't be worth your time. Also they smell and are very loud and contaminated.
