Hello everyone I'm K, been into urbex for years and have been urbexing in my home country, Finland, as well as in Latvia and Estonia where we went to shoot a little documentary about urbex. The doc of course never came out haha.

I currently reside in Montréal, Québec, and would love to find likeminded people and go urbexing together. Please let me know if you'd like some company!

Je parle un peu de francais aussi Je cherche des amis qui sont intéressés de urbex. Je vis à Montréal. Je veux apprendre plus de francais! Haha.

Whats up peeps?! I'm Casey (Turbo), 22. I'm from Atlanta, Ga. Self employed in HVAC. I've always loved traveling. Only been to Mexico, Belize, Honduras, Grand Caymans, and just over a handful of states. Urbex has just recently came upon me. I've always been fascinated with anything abandoned or that just looks interesting to go in to, although I haven't really done a lot of it. I'm stoked about finding this forum and can't wait to meet some of the other explorers in Atlanta and start checking out some of these places!!

Hi everyone,
My name is Larry Cahill. I live just a few miles north of Boston and have a passion for exploring and photographing anything old (but I hate snakes! LOL).
I'm hoping to get to know some fellow explorers not just in Boston but all over New England.

Hello,
I am from Providence, RI. I've always been a casual photographer, but I started shooting dilapidated buildings in 2010. My first was Shooters, a.k.a. Bootleggers in Providence (now gone). I get out as often as possible to shoot and have car/ will travel, so drop me a line sometime.

Hello all, I've been doing this since before it was well known. Grew up in North Jersey and got my experience with a very well known spot that was located there before it became "well known". I've spent time in Baltimore, Philly, NE PA, and Detroit. Live in the North East now and planning a couple of trips in and around ME, NH, and MA. Hope to meet some fellow adventures.

Hey everyone,
I'm Ryan and I have been exploring for as long as I can remember. As a little kid I was infatuated with going into old buildings and I guess that carried on to now. I'm from Milford, PA and go to school in Kutztown, PA. Around my town is where I started, mostly old abandoned houses, and finally with the free time at school I can move up to larger sites to photograph and learn the history of.

My name is Isaac. I love music, making it, listening to it, and I have a need to be at high altitudes. I'm 16, and have been exploring, roofing, climbing, and trespassing for years. But only recently found out about this forum.
I hope to meet up with people on here, make some explorer friends, find new spots.

Bonsoir all. I am British, not quite 30 and have explored a lot in England, France and Belgium. I am a regular of the Paris Catacombs, as well as many of the epic European sites. I'm also a regular on a British UE forum, but thought I would branch out here and say hi to you folks over the pond as I may well be over there a lot in the years to come.

Hello! I just found this site. I'm hoping to find helpful info for my trip to Pennsylvania this coming Sept. I'm in school for engineering but my passion is still photography. I tried to make a living at it but the cost of turning it into a career was a bit too high for me. I started to dislike doing it for fun. I grew up in a small country town with lots of older 1900's homes just left to rot and have always enjoyed walking through and photographing a horror picture show style of album. With digital cameras always coming down in cost, the old buildings were my first photographic subjects. I like grunge, I like old, I like black and white, except where color is useful for "atmosphere." I'd really like to find some old insane asylums. There was an old hospital in my area of Virginia, called Hampton General Hospital but a few of my fellow UEs refused to join me due to it being such a new hospital and black mold scares that were in the local news. I've included some of my most recent photographic work. Sorry if you don't like grunge frames, they were a "thing" for me for quite a while. If you know of some, out in the middle of the boonies, insane asylums, or just old factory dwellings in the eastern Pennsylvania area I'd love to visit some and improve my grunge, building album. I thought perhaps about camping nearby for some sunset, sunrise, through the windows, pictures so any personnel info would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Everyone,

My name is Andrew. I have been poking around the forum for the last week or so and have been excited to see many new old places from around the globe as well as a few pictures from one of my old spots.

I currently live in the Indianapolis area although I haven't gone exploring the city much yet. I have always been more of a rural explorer and beyond that stick mostly to places with vehicle access since my main focus was finding backdrops for car pics. More recently I have been getting into more exploring for the sake of exploring.

Beyond that I'm not really much for posting on forums, so I'm not likely to develop much of a post count. I hope to learn some tips and tricks as well as possibly meet up with some other explorers.

If you're Jesus than shouldn't you already know the vast unknowns of the world...?

Oh, you meant Hey-sus? Nevermind...

Hey guys! I'm a college student who got into exploring with some friend from high school years ago. I've explored dozens of places along the east coast (mostly in NY though). Some of the cooler places I've been include the Camp Hero Air Force Base, the Bennet School for Girls, and the Jackson Sanitorium.

Yes! I can finally post!

Well my name is Robert and I'm from Massachusetts, I've been lurking here for probably over a week and a few days ago I have decided to join the UER community.
I was excited and tried to introduce myself but there's a wait of 3 days. I survived the wait and I'm finally here.

I'm just your average 20 year old male looking to explore and want to become a photographer. I haven't been to many places only like 2.. one of which I guess is pretty well known here in the western mass area, I'm sure you could take a guess, but I could be wrong.

Anyway, I look forward to seeing what the members of UER have to offer here and I've seen a lot already. The photographs here are just unbelievably beautiful.
There's just something about an old abandoned building to me that just catches my eye and I enjoy sitting there and just taking in it's beauty and thinking of what it's history may be, what went on there and why it's left to let nature take over and do it's thing.

I have a thing for window pictures.. so if you've got some nice pictures with windows.. I'm sure I'll compliment them.

I'm also sure I'll be asking for advice if I can't find anything that I'm looking for for help here in the forums, as I'm not only a rookie to this site, but I'm also a rookie in exploring and photography. But I really do look forward to what's to come from here and I'm sure I'll enjoy my stay.

Thank you.
