I'm Rhianna from Denver and I am brand new to urban exploration, but have quickly fallen in love with it. I am a senior in a psychology and philosophy bachelor's program and will be graduating in December. I have my sights narrowed in on grad school, but would like to keep urbex as a side project when I get the time. Right now, I work full-time and go to school full-time, so not much of my time is free for pursuing more interesting things like abandoned buildings.

Hey everyone! My name is Jon. I live in Bethlehem, PA and have wanted to become a part of this forum for awhile! I've always been fascinated with exploring so I figured joining a forum dedicated to Urbex would be right up my alley! I explore primarily abandoned buildings. I've been exploring for about 1 1/2-2 years. I mostly have explored small places but recently I've been findings significantly large locations, one being a school campus with 17 large buildings, which is awesome! One of my buddies who is a film major even asked me to find some locations for his new short film he is filming. A bit about myself. I am 20 years old and have a wide range of hobbies. Obviously Urbex, but I also play paintball, ride ATVs, modify cars, host car meets, and do video editing. I am pursuing a career in emergency services and I am a certified EMT. I also volunteer for a local fire station to gain experience! I look forward to getting to know people on this site and learning further about exploring with people who share the same interests as me!

Hey, my name is Elliot and I'm a 25-year-old software analyst in the DFW area. I don't think I've ever been in an abandoned building ever, but I'm pretty eager to change that. I have a newish DSLR that I'm loving experimenting with, and urbex seems like an awesome way to work out my photography muscle.

Hey everyone, I'm Ela. I've never done any urban exploring but really want to get into it. My boyfriend is the one that sparked my interest by showing me all these photos on the internet and talking about how he wants to explore old abandoned buildings. I'm not sure about his experience with UE but I know it's something that he really wants to do. We just moved to the Houston/Galveston, TX area so that I can go to graduate school. I was looking for some ideas as to where I can take him and surprise him with an explore. After doing some research, I'm actually starting to get into this and I hope this can become a consistent hobby of ours. Look forward to seeing some cool, old, and vintage places as well as meeting some new people in the area.

Hello, my name is Dylan. My friend who is on UER as Compton Ass Kenny(I know, don't judge me), introduced me to urban exploring. I've gotten a little bit of experience from exploring with him recently but I'm still kind of a scrub.

I'm glad I found this site as I had a lot of questions and a lot of time to surf around and check it out the last 3 days. Hello. I'm new member here and just wanted to give a brief intro. I've been lurking for years and decided to finally join. I'm probably one of the older new members (let's just say over 40). I live in the Baltimore area and travel all over the region. I did some exploring when I was a lot younger near DC in Maryland, but have not been out in a long time. Hopefully I will be able to contribute to the community. To all those that have already contributed, thanks for the great photos and interesting stories.

Welcome to the UER!!! I have only three pieces of advice to offer. 1. Read the forum rules, and abide by them. 2. Post. A lot. You take some good pics. Post 'em up! 3. Do your homework!!!

Hey all - My name is Josh and I live in the north Houston, TX area. I grew up in Europe (Navy brat) and my friends and I would go out exploring all the old abandoned places pretty much every weekend. I have always done it but had no idea there were so many others who enjoyed it as well. I have already met several cool people on here and hope to meet more folks in the Houston and surrounding areas.

Hey, I'm Zach! I've always been fascinated by URBEX but only recently done it and I fell in love. I'm from the northern Atlanta area and I love my camera like its my baby. I've only gone about three times but have managed to entice a couple of friends as well.

hey everyone, I'm new to the site and forum, but have been exploring for a cool minute. Though i just discovered your forum, it seems like a place id really fit in, considering the cynicism and smart ass remarks. anyhow im from oklahoma and am real excited to contribute to the photos. i also noticed there are no threads or photos from up around my area. I'll be glad to contribute new material. Anyhow I'm excited to help out with some cool shots from my area. Thanks for the opportunity to join. cheers

Anyhow thanks for the opp to join and i am off to go capture life...in still motion. g'day folks
