My name is Sakhon, I currently live in Kitchener, ON. I love to go exploring . I am artistic and would love to start to take pictures of awesome places around the town. Forests and such don't cut it for me, I like the abandoned places for some reason. My friends and I always go exploring whenever we can, but can never seem to find any good places.

I am honestly excited that I found this site, and I find it amazing that there's a group for just exploring. I hope to meet new people and see new places. Would also help me in my artist's block that I've had for a long while now. XP

Hello Urban Explorers, My name is Redd and I am based in Saint Paul. I've been exploring the structures of the twin cites for several years and have a background in research and maps.

I am actively exploring both Saint Paul and Minneapolis and have all the tricks/costumes/and tools. I usually go alone but the situations I find myself in are becoming increasingly dangerous and not wanting to die alone and end up in an unmarked hobo grave, I could use a cohort or two.

Msg me if you are in the area and want to share some locations to visit.

Thanks

Hey people! I'm Brendan! I'm from Kitchener, ON,and I'm very happy to have found this site. I've had a bit of a background of U.E, however I always had trouble finding places and people to go with. So I'm very happy to find this place!

Hello UER! I'm new to the forums but not completely new to UE. I've got some experience exploring local storm drains, but would like to make the step up to abandoned buildings. I'm currently in Appleton, WI, but will soon be moving down to Atlanta. I made an account a few months ago and after lurking for a while and getting a feeling for the general rules around here, I should probably start to contribute some. If you're in Appleton or the Fox Valley and know of any good places to go or need a comrade, feel free to message me.

Hello, All ! Even though I'm sure nobody really pays attention to these, but here I am, making an attempt to put myself on the grid, so to speak. I'm currently in Dallas, Texas, one of the best cities in my honest, biased opinion :p. Just recently I've gotten a knack for urban exploring when I ended up on the rooftop of an abandoned building situated a couple minutes away from my house ! This seems like an awesome website, so glad I found it !

Hey guys, introducing myself I guess. I'm Cal. Spent a lot of time in my childhood desiring to explore abandoned places but never worked up the courage until I was a teen. I'm centered in Cape Cod, so not really a lot of places available to explore. Tourists don't like that kind of thing. Joined so I could get some tips and tricks on how to explore best.

Hi everyone,

I've recently really realized urban exploration was a hobby, an experience, and apparently a community!

I spend most of my time as a professor at a college, a percussionist, I own my own production company so I frequently record/mix/produce/master/etc. other people's work.

However, I'm also a recovering addict. Besides meetings and sponsorship I started hiking to spend my time. Which was fine for a while. Then I got hardore into camping, which was much more thrilling. Urban exploration has given me that "high" I've missed because you're exploring the unknown, the danger, and (if you believe it) spirits that . Yes, it's typically illegal, but there are many safety precautions that I take. I'm excited to see where this takes me. I also have a particular interest in history so I love reading about the history of some of these places (true or not).

I look forward to meeting and exploring some of these places in the near future, I already explored the old factory in Paterson, NJ and documented with a cannon point-and-shoot, my iphone, and a Olympus OM-2 25mm Camera. I would love to post the photos and video but I'm not an official member yet.

This Sunday I'm going to the Hilltop Care Center in Montville, NJ. Contact me if you're interested in joining!

Hello! I've been exploring since I was 15 and overcame my fear of an abandoned shack down a natural gas pipeline service road and went inside. Pretty much all my finds are by chance and a lil bit of satellite imaging. Someone once told me you can hear all day and not listen to a thing, I guess I learned to listen with my eyes.

I live in Puget Sound and keep to the foothills. There's plenty out there!

Here's some pics I've taken:

Hey everyone! I'm from Halifax (in the UK) I've been exploring for a little while now mostly down to me being a nosy sod and wanting to know what lays behind the boarded up buildings. I thought I'd join here to share some places from the UK with you all.

Hi y'all! I'm Sam, and I hope to become active in the Colorado area and in the community as a whole! I've been on this site a lot lurking, but only now am I really in the position to participate. I can't wait to get to know everyone!

As for experience, I've only ever really explored a couple of drains around the springs, a now demolished warehouse, and some abandoned homesteads up in the Rocky Mountains. I only have a few photos, but I'll make a separate post for all those.

That's all for now!

Hello! I have a love for exploring abandoned buildings. I feel that there is a unique beauty to them. I have only explored one abandoned house with my brother. Couldn't get to the second floor or kitchen because the stairs were clasped and the floor in the kitchen was unsafe. I live in Central Maryland. I would love to join up with others and learn about cool places near me.

I am currently in college for a associates degree for computer science. I don't believe in ghosts or spirits but I am afraid of the dark. As long as I have a friend with me it doesn't bother me. I love going to antique stores and looking at all the furniture and other tools. I do blacksmithing as a hobby.

I hope to stay active with the forum and will get to meet other explores in my area.

Hey! You guys can call me Quincy! I'm quite new to UE but I hope to become familiar with it soon! I'm from Milwaukee, Wisconsin and I like dank memes, reading, photography, and drawing. I'm also really into music and I would call myself a metal head of sorts, but that's not the only genre I listen to. I like most music genres except new country and most pop songs. I have 3 dogs, Loki, Thor, and Ox, who are my best friends, 3 sisters, savannah, Scarlett, and Katy, and a centipede named Charles. I hope to make some new UE friends and maybe find some cool locations in Wisconsin :^)

Hey guys! My name is Josiah, and I've been a member of this site for several years but haven't introduced myself.

Photography has always been a passion of mine, and only in the past few years have I decided to merge that with my love of exploring abandoned things. Urban Exploration is such a beautiful art form to me...finding places lost to the eyes of the world and bringing them back into the public's eye. It really is beautiful to see nature reclaim a structure.

Anyway, I'm a transplant living in the Seattle area now and would love to find other PNW urbexers to meet up with! I've been trying to scout areas but as I'm new to the PNW, I'll need help getting started.

I've attached an image from one of my favorite explorations in Tennessee at an abandoned nuclear power plant (message for details). Hope you like it!
