Source Points - Sewers of Montreal < on 4/17/2012 5:37 PM >
Just thought some of you might be interested in seeing footage that was used in one of my photo/video installations on display in Montreal recently.
I basically combined video footage with still images to create these four underground scenes. For the audio component, the sound artist I worked with used samples I recorded in the sewers and blended them together with ones he captured at street level.

Posted by bigXmack that was pretty cool. reminds me of one of those moving waterfall picture things you seen in the malls.
Yeah, I was going to say these would make some awesome screen savers. Very nicely done! "Man cannot discover new oceans unless he has the courage to lose sight of the shore." - Andre Gide

Thanks! Hopefully mine are a little less tacky than "those moving waterfall picture things you seen in the malls", but they did come to mind when I was working on this.

That's about the coolest thing I've seen since the first time I saw a drain picture. Great job! Maybe I'm just partial to drains, but there's more to it than the moving waterfall pictures....although I do kinda want this looping in my bathroom on a screen just for the oddity of it.
