Signs on your vehicle

I was wondering, does anybody has some signs on there vehicle that let others assume that you are a surveyor or something like this that should be there?

If so, what does your sign says?

I wouldn't go so far as to impersonate someone I wasn't. I can see that backfiring on you.

My old work truck does look like an old work truck. And I try to keep it looking decently clean.

The side of my car has a sign on it that says "Totally Legit Drain Rape CO." And under that, the caption says "Cleaning your pipes since 2001"

I drive a boring car that blends in, nothing special. I don't think I'd put anything like that on my car, I feel like it'd bite me in the ass.

It's probably not a good idea, especially in this day and age where car and truck bombs are used. A vehicle parked near an abandoned building looks suspicious enough without the name of a non-existent company on the side.

People are more vigilant (and paranoid) now a days. Twenty of so years ago nobody would have paid mind to a car parked and left somewhere for a few hours with a fake name. Now... you may come out to your car and find the the bomb squad has surrounded it.

A friend of mine who drove a Kombi van used to often get pulled over by the cops. He put God-bothering type stickers on his rear window and they never pulled him over again - true story.

Like I said nothing illegal.

There are a lot of things that will not impersonate anybody.

I am glad this was posted because the same thing has crossed my mind a couple times. I think it is best to leave the car as simple as possible.

Yeah not in West Texas.
Lately we have blowing dust and it's getting kind of warm again.
Warm in West Texas means above 85 degrees, everything below is chilly cold.
