life in decay Trailer 2 (UE documentary) < on 5/12/2012 5:40 AM >
Latest trailer for our documentary we are working on. Remember to watch in HD and full screen... if you prefer, there is a Vimeo link at the bottom of this post (since you can't watch Vimeo in HD without leaving UER).
Currently I think we probably have enough exploring footage, but are working on obtaining some interviews. Thanks to everyone who was willing to help us out thus far with interviews, tips, and showing us around. Much appreciated!
Let me know what you think about this. Critiques are welcome and I will keep you all updated as it comes along.

I hate to say it but it still might be a while until the finished piece comes. I'll be updating when I can though. We haven't even started the editing process yet for the feature length movie... I'd imagine it will take some time especially while having another full-time job. We also need to get just a few more solid interviews and we can get started on it. I'm pretty well committed to it at this point, so it will be finished sometime in the slightly near future! Great work so far CatandTie, I love it so far and to see Ed getting interviewed is awesome. Now we need the famous Krush to be interviewed with him. Great job and I cannot wait to see the finished work.

Here it is; this was made months ago with not many interviews under the belt yet. "Man cannot discover new oceans unless he has the courage to lose sight of the shore." - Andre Gide

oh krush was there! stellar day
Yeah he definitely was there, haha. He sticks to the shadows mostly when it comes to pictures/videos... When the camera did find him it was lots of obscene gestures, lol.
Maybe we can get him to agree to an interview if we blur his face??
I also just wanted to thank everyone for the support and comments. It will get finished someday! Haha [last edit 5/15/2012 8:17 PM by CatAndTie - edited 1 times] "Man cannot discover new oceans unless he has the courage to lose sight of the shore." - Andre Gide

Posted by N1Hawk Any update on a final put together of this project. Ive been wondering?
Sure, thanks for asking. We have been editing the final piece together, as well as obtaining some extra footage when the time presents itself. We needed some demolition footage, and finally were able to obtain some of that recently, so footage-wise we should solidly have enough now.
But, since it's pretty much a two man operation and both of us (up until a few months ago) had full time jobs, so it's been really difficult to get together and get some serious editing done.
I'm currently only working part time, so I've been able to put some more time and effort into it, but it's still slow moving.
That's where it stands right now; slowly moving along through the editing. We have an unbelievable amount of footage to wade through, which is making rough cut decisions difficult.
It'll get done at some point though. "Man cannot discover new oceans unless he has the courage to lose sight of the shore." - Andre Gide
