| | | Looks like there might be one within walking distance of my house, but it's pretty obvious from a very busy main street. Any advice on how to appear super casual about wandering around it? [last edit 5/21/2012 8:08 PM by WestOhooligan - edited 1 times]

| | | First off make sure its really abandoned, I've seen people living in them when they are well past what others would consider "gone". Nothing like rolling up to a place to explore and the owners are inside on the couch. Other than that just walk up like you do own the place if it really is empty and has been for awhile the neighbors probably quit paying much attention to it. For all they know you are the owner/caretaker/realtor coming to check on the place. That's also where a camera might make you seem less suspicious realtors take pictures of places all the time to use in advertising. Disclaimer: I'm not saying to impersonate someone you aren't as that can lead to bigger trouble if you get caught. But if you look like you belong there and have a reason to be there people will less likely to notice you than if you are creeping around trying to hide like you are doing something wrong. Best of luck and post up pictures if you get in, this board can always use more posts and pictures.
