No time for the old in-out, love.

| | | You are the Mr. Wizard of elevator surfing!
The Durango '95 purred away a real horrowshow - a nice, warm vibraty feeling all through your guttiwuts. And soon it was trees and dark, my brothers, with real country dark. |

| | | This is pretty cool. But did you really to be so worried about turning that light off when the elevator stops at a floor? I've even seen elevators before that had the light permanently on. Even elevator shafts that had lights in them. What gets me about the whole elevator surfing thing is not the act of doing it, or getting on top of the elevator, it's getting out. You park the elevator at the floor, open the outer doors -- and how can you be absolutely sure there's nobody there walking by or waiting for the elevator? And something tells me that the "looking for a bathroom" excuse won't work there.

| | | Turning light off can be essential as you are visible from adjacent stacks (and if someone looks up or down). This is also stated in the video. Staff, maintenance workers, or guests can see something odd about a light being suddenly on that was not on before. I actually want to investigate into this further. Perhaps have a friend riding one, and me looking through the other stack to see how big of a gap it is. * * * One does not have to overcomplicate things in regards to getting out. Just line up the car with the bottom slit where you can see the floor, then line up level with the floor. Open the door. Reset the controls into normal operations mode, and get out. If you see someone, don't make eye contact and head for the nearest fire escape and off the property you go.

| | | My building (11 floors, though the elevator stops only at the ground floor and levels 2-9*) has elevators with a glass panel in both the cabin and the floor doors, and lights in the shaft. Sometimes, the lights in the shafts would be on for months, then they'd be off for months... Completely random. It's what the maintnance people decide, i think. | | | Crypton, elevator surfing with you at SEAPEX was absolutely incredible! Probably the coolest active site UE I've ever done. Thanks so much for taking me and teaching me stuff! And great video too!
