They did however do a fair amount of filming on Peddocks.

Boats go to Peddocks now, there was a tour going on there but we didn't go. There's another island that they were doing demolition on that is now no longer accessible due to asbestos (lol). The last photo isn't George's Island, but some of the photos I posted are from there. The last one I believe was Long Island.

Last time I flew out of Boston which was in January, my plane went right over Peddocks, and that whole curving line of beautiful old brick officers' housing, hospital etc. curving through the woods was a bare swath of dirt. I wish I was lying.
