Historic Map Works

I was just doing some research on my city, as it looked 200 years ago, when I came across this site: http://www.historicmapworks.com/
It provides historic maps of cities. The cool part is a program called Historic Earth. It overlays the old map with Google Maps so you can compare the two.
I did a quick search on UER for this topic and found nothing. Sorry if repost.

Edit: I had to sign up for a free account with them to use this.

I have mentioned it Here: http://www.uer.ca/...d=1&threadid=17820

It is a nifty little tool. Also historic photo albums are really helpful.

44,000 more historic maps here.

And if you're after old topo maps of the US, this site is great too.

It's great to be alive!
