|  | | | Just throwing this out there in case anyone could help. We are looking for some places that are currently being demolished (or absolutely going to be getting demolished within the next few months or so). I'd like to obtain some demolition footage for our documentary.
The bigger the place and the more beautiful architecture- the better.
You don't have to name drop here, just shoot me a PM.
Really any insider information about the demo would help. Such as what buildings are coming down, if there is a place close enough to the action to set up and film from a public road, the company involved with the demo, etc.
I know KPPC, NSH in CT, and MV in western PA... but still, any local/insider info would help.

They're renovating it, allegedly. A friend of mine happened to be on site while they were working on it, and he spoke to some of the construction guys.
Try Dever in Taunton, MA. From what I've heard, the cafeteria is already gone, and I'm sure the rest won't be far behind.

Not quite. Demo is stalled until the County and the owner of the land stop bickering. Last time I was there they started filling up a dumpster outside one of the buildings though, could be prep for asbestos remediation.

My M1 Garand's Bayonet was made there. Sad.
EDIT: Turns out it was made by American Fork and Hoe, not Union. Who wold have though there were two "Fork and Hoe" companies out there making bayonets?
