| | | This might sound pathetic, because it really is, but I need some new people to urbex with. My current group kinda sucks. Their good friends but all they like to do is smash stuff and I hate it. Also They arent into photography so all they do is rush through things and smash stuff before I get the chance to photograph it. So if you are in the CT area, Hartford County ish, and would like to hit me up to go exploring, message me on here.

| | | Hi. You might want to ask a moderator to move this thread to the regional forum for your area. Good luck with your future exploring.

| | | There is no need for you to put up with that crap especially if you go through all that work of finding the location and getting them into it.

You much of a photo buff? I find the shots come out entirely differently alone than they do with people, it can be a unique tool to check and hone your skills. As for rides...well, you'd be amazed what's within walking distance if you study your surroundings enough. When you do get out, keep a keen eye. There's at least an abandoned house every few blocks and some of the coolest stuff I've seen were in houses.

| | | Why are we giving the dude trouble? He doesn't drive and his group clearly doesn't belong in the exploring genre. I don't see these things as disqualifiers...just challenges. [last edit 1/9/2013 1:41 AM by Weirdlig - edited 1 times]

| | | Kick your friends in the nutz/lady parts next time. Let them know that they are the ones that ruin the exploration scene and are the type of people that get places shut down. They probably won't care and call you a puss or something, but when they grow up, they'll say, "Yeah, you're right!"

| | | I had this same problem when I first started... I just stopped hitting those people up and ignored their calls. I would suggest going to a well traversed place alone, and I bet you will run into good people soon enough. I have run into several people this way. Actually, just yesterday I bumped into some people I know from this site in a place by me. Try it out.

| | | Wish I could help you out, I'm from Waterbury but I am also carless...so my exploration locales tend to be within 8-10 miles of my house by bicycle. But you sound like a nice dude, and I wish you luck.

| | | I also do not drive, and I pretty much have no friends, let alone anyone to 'splore with. Sucks...
Everyday we pass beauty by as we rush through our hurried lives. The world looks different if you take the time and walk slowly. |
