the cave this video was taken in used to be brewery caves for the brewery above ground. the brewery has long been demolished and is now a grassy field but the caves still remain. the sinkhole that formed is from an old elevator shaft 20 years ago that transported the brew to the underground, around here to cover a cave shaft the city simply dumps dirt and debris and all other kinds of back-fill into the hole until its covered up. anyways when the city did some improvements and such on the surface they ended up grading the field above kind of like a small ditch shape which was a red flag. over 20 years water has been seeping into the dirt and loosing up the dirt and debris in this shaft and around 3 days before it caved in, explorers were talking about the area being very wet and muddy. 3 days later it all came in and the melting snow on the surface enough to make a pond turned into a waterfall flooding areas of the cave.
