Driving back to Hamilton from visiting 3 other sites I noticed the blackened windows of this house that is set far, far from the highway. It was difficult to get to (mud and all in April) and a long walk, but well worth the trek. I did have the pleasure of meeting a few descendants of the family that had originally constructed this house and missed a nearby second house, built by the same family, by a few months (it was torn down).
