No time for the old in-out, love.

| | | Very well shot! Loved it
The Durango '95 purred away a real horrowshow - a nice, warm vibraty feeling all through your guttiwuts. And soon it was trees and dark, my brothers, with real country dark. |

| | | Great job. I need to try this style out. I do a lot of walk through but this style is very unique. The music choice was also spot on. It really gave you the sad feeling this house has now.

Thanks, I'm using DSLR, so walk through always turns out very shaky, and revealing all sorts of other technical issues. And I don't think I'm patient enough for sliders! One interesting recent development is the electronic steadycams, I think once they come down in price it might be worth checking them out, should make walkthroughs very steady. http://nofilmschoo...bilizer-pre-order/

Cool Thanks for that info. I have a DSLR myself, Nikon D7100. I shoot my footage in 1080p at 30. I use a lense with image stabilization which helps a bit but it still not dead still. If you have the arms to handle it, I found holding it on a tripod does make it more stable

| | | Nice! I do the slider thing quite a lot. Bought a cheapo steadicam knockoff last year and while it's not as nice as the real thing, you can get a few nice shots if you try. But that's a great, moody little piece there.

This is true. A little tip is to tie a weight of some sort to the bottom of your tripod with your camera on the top. It's not perfect, but you can usually get some steadier shots that way. I liked the video but there was some weird stabilization issues going on that I noticed, especially in the beginning. What did you use to stabilize your shots? I'm assuming they were done in post? You can really see it "throbbing" (for a lack of a better word) on the sides and I found that to be a bit distracting. Otherwise, a very nice style, man!
