Invitational to my NY, CT & NJ brothers & sisters

My wife & I are new to this but dontreally know any other explorers in our area. We have been to a few spots around here (fort bush, Aba Psych, lost village & flying field) but we want to get out there more and find new, interesting places & people. Im a mechanic by trade & that does come in handy sometimes (tool & knowledge) and my wife is good at playing the crying card lol.

Ive heard good things about a base on Montauk & a few spots on Staten Island but we haven't had a chance to go just yet & we need to justify the expense. Almost forgot Camp Bluefield upstate. If we get a little group together then that would be better/easier.

Only thing I really bring to a party is camera gear, a cooler & some travelling tools, nothing big, but enough to get through.

Also, we are into the paranormal aspect of these locations as well

Just a suggestion... edit your post and remove at least some of those location names. If you do a search and see that a hospital (B. S.) has never been named on this forum even once, that should be a pretty good indication that you shouldn't use the name.

Took your advice, I'll try to keep that in mind for my future posts. What threw me off with this site is the code names as most other sites I've come across looking for abandoned places usually list the names outright. For some of the more pristine locations (no taggers or yuppies) they'll mask the name. I guess I have to work on my hidden agendas a little more. Last thing I want to do is get banned or something bad to go down. Its not everyday I find a site like this

Just remember, unless you are an active historian, there is absolutely no reason to use real names. Even if they are well known.

Have you ever heard of Lord Rick?

Science flies you to the Moon. Religion flies you into tall buildings.

Let me get this straight as far as your reference goes. All locations killed my parents & left me scarred for life & I should not name names to avoid giving them power?? I know im being a smart ass but you get the idea

sarcasm. good.

Lord Rick was a UER member from when this forum started to gain prominence. He is the epitome of lazy, white trash. He started (I believe) in the western New York area and left for the sunny wastes of Las Vegas. He was trying to charge people for 'exploration' missions and ghost hunting. The worst part of this living parody is that he takes himself so seriously, despite his obvious douchbaggery.

Just one last thing. Were you trying to compare me to this jackass or the situation of naming names? Laziness used to be one of my strong suits but now Im constantly doing something, either at work, home or out there trying to explore. Had a semi shit day yesterday. Went from 2 sites in queens to 3 in staten island & only 1 is SI was accesible at the time. I was going to put up the set but its mainly exteriors & nothing you guys haven't seen
