| | | Let's hope this is a test to determine the viability of regular tours throughout the year.
There are no stupid questions, just stupid people. |

+1 Same thing happens when they do tours for Doors Open. They limit what you get to see based on time, safety, etc. So even though yes it's a great chance to get inside for a bit and get a general overview of some of the building(s). It's hardly the same opportunity you'd get if you went in alone, unsupervised.

I remember for Portlands they literally lay a trail of tape on the floor that you had to follow on the guided tour. Although it was an active energy plant.
The sign said "Anybody caught trespassin will be shot on sight" So I jumped on the fence and I yelled at the house, "Hey! What gives you the right?" http://www.flickr.com/photos/evman/ |

I'll let you know how it is. A friend of mine is one of the tour guides and she told me we're going to all of the most interesting places including mechanical rooms and the segregation unit. It's a 90 minute tour in fairly small groups.

Please do!! I'd love to see photos from inside and get your "review" of the tour so to speak.

| | | *sigh* I think I'm gonna cry... Going to have to take a drive down to scope out the perimeter to see if there are any potential accesses once things die down around there.

| | | In tomorrow. Hope it lives up to the hype. I've heard no tunnels due to a staff member smacking their melon and having to go to the hospital. Bummer...remnants of the old morgue down there. C'est la vie.

| | | Yet another Globe and Mail article, this one on some potential redevelopment ideas. http://www.theglob...n/article14850262/ It's like the Globe has a fetish for the place. Of which I totally approve.
It's great to be alive! |
