Burned out house

Found this house in a small town that borders the Cape Cod Canal. While I was there, a little old lady from next door approached me and asked what I was doing. She then told me some history on the house. She said that it was once a beautiful summer home. About 20 years ago there was a fire that destroyed the house. She said it was a candle that started the fire. She said she had pictures of the house before the fire, but she could not find them. She also told me that she has been fighting the town for years to have the eye sore torn down. She had a letter from the town that stated the house would be demolished to make way for a new house in the near future.

Nice shots. The angles of some of those walls though would have made me think twice about entering. :p

Softly creeping through
Empty hallways decades old,
glimpsing history.

Just needs a bit of bubble gum and it'd be perfectly fine!

Yeah it was a little risky, one room had a nice view of the basement and no roof. I had to watch every step
