| | | Moved! Need to find new fellow UE'ers in Orlando, FL, or surrounding areas! < on 1/12/2003 9:46 PM >
| | | I just moved to Winter Park, Florida (just outside of Orlando). Can't find anyone into UE so far, but I've only been here for two weeks so far...my boyfriend and I moved here for his college. I saw a link from this site for a Central FL UE group, but it said just after the link that the site is never updated or anything. I was so disappointed... I thought I had finally found people serious into UE around here. I miss explorations terribly...there were SO many places to explore in Maryland, where I used to live. Everything around here is so new and built up, so I probably won't be able to get into a lot of abandoned places, which is my favorite and pretty much all that I have explored thus far. But if anyone lives in this area or knows of good places to explore, please contact me asap. I know most of this site is about Canadian UE, but I figured I'd give it a shot and see if there are any other Floridians that check up here at all. | | | Putting the name of the place you're writing about in the subject line would probably be a good idea for you and everyone else.

| | | That's true, thanks, Ninj...guess I had a brain fart or something.
I saw the yellow albert site and yes, I did think, "Wow, the closest UE people are in Georgia." This really sucks...I'm used to living in Maryland where there were places to explore ALL over. Tons of places...and I come here, and nothing.
How frustrating, grrr...

| | | smudgie, you are from Maryland? Whereabouts? I am from College Park. Thus far I have been to Hyattsville's old municipal building, glenndale hospital, and Washington Post storm drains. In addition to exploring at my college just north of Harpers Ferry WV, I am also planning a trip to Glen Echo park. Do you know of any other good places in Maryland to go?
