For the longest time, I thought the Canadian Malt company was beside the former Tent City in Toronto. Then after studying the photos on the web, I realized that they didn't match up.

So, has anyone bothered to explore these silos? They look just as tempting.

The silos near the Tent City was part of the malt plant, it was auxilliary grain storage or something.

However most of that site was demolished, except for the silos themselves. The outdoor ladders have been cut off, so it would probably be very difficult to get in.

You can likely access the gallery from the internal ladders (just like the Port McNicol elevators) but there really isn't much to see there. Just a top gallery and a series of silos, probabley not worth the risk/danger of climbing those ladders.

You can't be lost if you don't care where you are!
