A whack load of new faces at this months meet. Was great meeting you all - though I think its about time we find a new place to meet besides the Liberty café. I think we've exhausted the nearby buildings to death already (though I really do love its proximity to the GO Station).

Thought I'd do something new and post some photos from the meet. God knows some of these locations don't need yet another gallery added to the database.

Well, I showed up eventually, but all I found was the Toronto Bed-Wetters Meet. Cool folks, a tad bit stinky though.

The weirdness-highlight for me was finding that day's paper (seen in-situ here) with an address label for Dave Farrough at 102.1 The Edge

Tastiness-highlight was definitely the lattice fries (1001 uses)
And the timing regarding sunset was perfect:

And finally, the sound of a free falling object hitting the side and then the bottom of a vast silo (tedious d/l, but no registration required):

If that's the CMP, then you were up there while I was just down the street on the roof of the Molson Brewery.

Thanks to Av for putting it together. I had a great time. I was really bummed about not being able to get into the second location.. I'm going to have to get in much less awful shape in order to make an attempt on it another time.

Photos to come.

As usually the meet was awesome. Some abandoned warehouse I've been to a million times and the All Mighty Malt Plant. Man, I've got to get a camera.

Thanx for the Malt tour and not getting me killed!

Ain't no thang. It is important in UE to know one's limitations and not go too far outside them to stay safe.

Limiting safety, you say? Then perhaps my new model of giant UE stilts will interest you. No longer will intrepid explorers need to be shot out of a cannon or flung from a trebuchet to access those difficult-to-reach access points.

Until I get them laquered, however, I can think of one other (non-circus) alternative...

Everybody, I had a great time, thanks and the maddest of props to you all for the memorable evening.

Also, my apologies again, Decoy, for giving you the wrong directions to get to the meet. I'm a wanker.

Got a couple of sweet pics, will post soon, once I get some downtime at work (as my home interwebmachine is still not working).

Ain't that the case! That and photos that present themselves when you don't have your camera with you.. the photo that got away.
