Went out the the Barber Mill this past weekend with Duct Tape (who took me to the site), photos: http://www.uer.ca/forum_showthread.asp?fid=1&threadid=23511, and was thinking this would be a great place to shoot after a good snowfall.. Has anyone else done this? If so, what was your experience there? Thanks.

Georgetown. If it isn't in the UE DB, I'd love to add it.

Georgetown! Awesome! That's close to me I may have to go check it out! Could you email or PM me the details, if you don't want to put them here on the forums.

I assumed as much. I would have been shocked if a site like this somehow was missed.

That is the place I was headed when I got caught in a storm earlier this year... Wound up turning around and then took refuge in Eagle Stone and got a little UE out of it. Def gonna have to go back, those pix remind me of why I wanted to go in the first place ;)

I'd love to see it in the winter, i think some of the outdoor spaces we saw would be absolutely incredible with some snow and ice, though it would make the site a darn site more treacherous with the assorted rubble and debris buried in the snow.

If you're going, i'm in again, all i've gotta do is find my winter boots!!

My shots from Monday's trip are here:

The Barber Mill used to look A LOT nicer prior to all of the "restoration". Anyhow, I live nearby so I take occasional trips over there... it is really breathtaking in the winter... especially since the Credit River is right next to it. I doubt the construction will ever go any faster than it's going now... they have been working on it for over two years now, mostly cleaning up so don't worry. Go on a weekend and you should be fine... I hardly ever see workers there.
