I'm new to the forum and i was wondering if anyone in the Boston area has been in any of the college's/university's or MBTA service tunnels. Any info helps. Also has anyone gone onto/into big dig areas?
thanks,
-francis f.

When ever I drive through the big dig tunnel thing I always contemplate pulling my car over and exploring those side rooms, in reality id probably get arrested before my door was fully opened, but it would be really cool to get in there non the less

I found this which has some pretty interesting information:
http://members.aol...oned/abanstas.html

It's a list of the "Remnants of Abandoned Stations, Tunnels, and Station Entrances found on the MBTA" by a guy with a last name that probably brought him much torment in middle school, Jonathan Belcher.

On a side note, does anyone know of any locations near Nashua, NH? I'll probably start a new thread about this, but it can't hurt to ask in here.

There are a LOT of old messages on this newsgroup about the tunnels at MIT and other local schools: http://groups.goog...lt.college.tunnels
