| | | there's an old farm house just off the 400 and hwy. 89. any who this house is known as Old Daves house to the local's. it's an amazing place it's in the middle of a cow field with no drive way to the house it self. as far as i have been told "Dave" lived there his whole life and when his wife passed away he ended up just fadeing away from every one he knew and stayed in the house un till he died... I've been there a few times and it's amazing!!! every thing that was in the house when he died is still there i will be going back there this weekend and with my new camera and taking shit loads of pic's!!! but the house is told to be haunted for those who belive in that stuff like my self. i have had an erie felling that some one is always standing behind me watching me to see what i'm doing... but ... i will post the pic's as soon as i can for all you to see. | | | There is a house like that near my place- calendar on the wall from 1986, the bed is made, with a tie hanging on the bedpost, there is food in the fridge from about 1986, there are preserves in the cellar under a ton of dust... it's like the owner left yesterday. Creey, but cool. I like being in the middle of nowhere, as nothing gets vandalized. The previous owner of the house actually had a fairly prominent politcal role in the 60's, as well as in the board of education. I was setting up an antique show in the local elementary school, and saw a picture taken of the board of directors from 1967, and one looked very familiar... looked at the name, George Broadworth... the owner of the house. I must have seen a photo of him while exploring the place.

Have you thought about the possibility that the "orb" is just your flash reflecting off of air particles? You can see a great deal of dust in the air, and the possibility of that being some sort of supernatural phenomenon is pretty slim. As for the face - yes, you can see something that could be a face, but think about scale. At that distance, the face would be bigger than a full-grown man's torso. Don't think I don't believe that there are eerie feelings and wierd supernatural things around (the world is just to complex for there not to be), but you really should fall back on the science first, and if it can't be explained, then you investigate the paranormal. It shouldn't be the other way around. C.

Someone's making an a priori argument! tsk tsk. Actually, I'm kinda with crossfire on this one. I think that you should fall back on a scientific method of deduction and try to prove that this is a real and actual thing that can be studied, tested, and that your results can be be recreated. Then, my friend, you can go as hysterical as you'd like.

well i'm not one for saying that no one can have an opinion and maybe i should look a little more into the science of it all but with the feeling's that i and other's have gotten there i have the belief that it's something ealse there, but yes the red orb/ spec of dust/ reflection could be one of those. so i'm going back there this weekend to see if i can get anything more on film. thanx for the reply.
