|  | | | When I went down there last night, I noticed a wood cutting room just west of the platform, new speaker phone systems on the platform ceiling still wrapped in packaging, new tile boxes? It looks like the TTC are giving Lower Bay a upgrade for maintanance use?

It's been that way for months. Those speakers in plastic have been like that for a long time now, and, afaik, are the old style ones. Only wrapped in plastic to save them.
The TTC wouldn't bother to upgrade a station like Lower Bay when they have far more pressing matters to deal with when it comes to money.
