Totally new to this and completely obsessed

My best friend and I have just recently started exploring places through online pictures at Opacity.us and hoursofdarkness.com. This weekend we're trying our first foray IRL. Looking at a few places in London, St. Thomas and Hamilton.

Does anyone have any tips or suggestions for a newb?

Don't call it a comeback, I've been here for years.

St. Thomas has some interesting locations, but I wouldn't suggest them for a newb at all. One of them, Alma College...

... is a beautiful location but is currently in the throes of renovations and demolition and is probably being very closely watched by the owner and police. There is also the St.Thomas Train Station...

I haven't been there in a while, so I can't what state it is in. However, it is very tightly sealed and requires some creative thinking to access. There are a handful of houses scattered throughout the countryside around London and St.Thomas, though, and would make excellent "first tries" for newb explorers.

thanks for the help. We were looking to try Alma College, but probably we'd just look from outside.

We explored the Bachelor's Grove Cemetary in Chicago this summer so we're not complete newbs I guess. (Awesome pics from that...) But I don't want to push anything. just a little cautious

Welcome. Have fun. If you're ever up in Toronto, let people know.. it isn't too hard to find people to check places out with around here.

The problem with the world is dumb people. I'm not advocating capital punishment for dumb people. I'm just suggesting we remove all the warning labels and let the problem solve itself.

We must also go out and meet the enemy before he reaches our shores. We must defeat him before he attacks us, before our cities are laid to waste.

Yah I'd go with that list. Those are all some pretty important locations. If you want to see them, let me or Tat2ed know... we visit them pretty frequently.
