Question for you UofT UER's...is the physical plant building the one off Russell St. with the big smokestack? Can't find it on any of the maps

And are there any good places to explore in University college?

Yes, the Phys Plant is the one with the big smokestack. And I don't recommend trying anything around it, as it's manned 24/7 and the mice really don't like you around there.

I haven't had much of a chance to poke around UC, so I wouldn't know. Just be warned that getting caught in UC is much worse that most other buildings because it's the building everyone associates with UofT and means a lot to the university. And they don't want people up to stuff in there after hours.

Thanks Archer. That's what I thought. It's also where I found an interesting door:

Looks like part of a building or something was there before. Needless to say, avoid this (or watch that first step)

Keep it fuzzy.

Actually UC is where I found an elevator back door janitors closet, with roof access. Other than that though I try the basement doors on a weekly basis and havent found anything interesting left unlocked. This is just in the college building though, not the residences. But hey, when exploring U of T don't just limit yourself to phys plant and UC, they've got like 200 buildings to explore. The Faculty of Music is especially fun with backstage areas and a tall roof. Robarts Library and the Mclennan(?) Physics building are the 2 tallest buildings, but you'll have to be creative getting around in robarts if you don't have a student ID. I've found they're pretty anal about letting people into the elevators, but you can find ways around that. Oh if you want to do some serious exploring there give me a shout. I know a few interesting places already, and would love to explore some of the other buildings on campus.

I've been behind that building, there is electrical backup/distro facilities up there, if its the building I believe it to be...

In the event of a fire, it is easily accessed (door is required by code) and it also could make bringing in larger/heavier equipment much more easily accomplished.
