| | | | Draining Expo #2 < on 11/7/2003 4:42 AM >
| | | Following up on my last post, me and two friends explored upstream.
The very beginning. Looks big, gets a little smaller. A massive 30 foot slide exists just beyond here.
(11) Some brief CMP after the slide. Becomes RCP shortly there after.
Sometimes you had to bend your back. This drain had more tunnels changes then I could count.
Many portions of this drain were gorgeous redbrick, unfortunately only one picture.
Yep. The tunnel got a little small at the end. All in all this was a great drain, just a little on the small side. What do you guys think? What kind of tunnel is it where umm joe there is standing with the metal pole? Has anyone else encountered this type of tunnel before? Thanks guys. - UEXporer EDIT: I'm sorry for the low quality, disposable camera and poor scanner. [last edit 11/7/2003 4:58 AM by F A S T - edited 1 times]

| | | It's usually called mummy or coffin, sometimes with a channel. Brick is the common material for that sort of tunnel, because it's easy to arch. There's a lot of sewer designed that way, with a channel in the middle. How long was the drain? What thread is this following up on?

| | | It was probably a kilometer long. It came out in backyard afterwards for maybe 30-40 feet before heading back underground. It surfaced at some very interesting points after that. It's following up on the post called. "draining expedition." I'm going to follow this whole system again with stronger flashlights and a better camera to get some superior photos, especially of a few of the slides.

| | | He was showing too much cleavage.
There's a copy of his eyes on his shirt.
It's not blacked out, that's the design on the shirt.
