|  | | | I was just wondering people's views on this place. I am aware that it isn't exactly UE, haha, since it's a museum and all, but I still think it's a pretty neat place, and it's fun taking photos there, even though they won't let you in to the really messed up areas, which sucks. I went there yesterday and sweated my butt off in there, but I took lots of pics and had a good time.

| | | | This Prison was featured on TAPS (The Atlantic Paranormal Society) once. It is extremely haunted. TAPS caught an aperation on Infared camera, running down the second story hallway. It was dressed in all black, and bolted when it saw TAPS around. Several EVPs were recorded there, of people talking, screaming, etc. Just be ready for a possible scare if going there.

Eastern State pretty much came to the point where it was going to be demo'ed and turned into a shopping center.. or a historically preserved landmark. One of the coordinators actually resents doing Terror Behind the Walls (the Halloween walkthrough), as he feels ESP had to "sell out" to be able to maintain the status quo of getting funds to renovate and whatnot. Nevertheless, (my biased self) feels it is a place deserving of attention.. daytime walkthroughs are at your own pace as long as you are there between the hours of 10 AM to 5 PM and cost only around 6 bucks. I recommend you show the place a little love, I find it pretty worthwhile

When we did it it cost $50 per hour
From what I hear they raised the price to a flat rate of $500, but I am not sure

There must be quite a few things a hot bath won't cure, but I don't know any of them.

Actually, It was. It was 200.00 for 2 hours. I think there were 8 of us all together so it was 25.00 plus gratuity.
Of course, I was told about wandering off & trying to climb things I shouldn't.
There must be quite a few things a hot bath won't cure, but I don't know any of them.

| | | | i have only been there once, but i will never forget it. i plan on going back again real soon. very spooky. i found a tennis ball in the courtyard, and as soon as i found it, a worker came and took it from me. back in the day when it was still open they would fill balls with drugs, money and other items and throw them over the outer wall (either into or out of the building). i love that place...
