| | | Right Blackhawk, I never said that you were wrong. I said that you were off topic and you were trying to flaunt around your extreme "knowledge" of the law. Yes, lawyers are expensive, but like I said twice above, he wasnt asking how much lawyers cost, he was asking what kind of legal trouble he would get into. We both answered him correctly, so I dont really see the point in being belligerant and throwing around senseless insults. Maybe I'm making a "drooling fool" of myself here, or maybe youre just not listening at all? You can attack me all you want, but in the end who is going to win? Is your ego really going to be bigger by insulting people on the internet, or getting into silly arguments. I mean, if thats what you pride youself on, go ahead, I'll let you berate me all you want, but I think I'm going to explore. Something you probably havent done in a while. If not ever. Back to the thread.

He asked what the "worst punishment" could be. All my threads were on topic as restitution, community service, and a civil suits are all meant to deter someone from breaking the law. You start this with a unwarranted, and flawed attack on my post. So don't act coy like you were sucker in when you in fact initiated this. You goofed. Don't blame me for your inaccurate, misleading, and vindictive posts. If you think that is not the case, carefully read this thread from the start. I have 3 times, and skimmed it 3+ times. I read fast. I haven't explored since I had some fun a month ago. I take pics of more then rust, and peeling paint. I've been a roaming terror since the age of 2, and been exploring longer than you been alive. Any other pointless attacks or criticism of my posts in this thread?

| | | Posted by blackhawk Circ4, what you say is prolly what you'll get, most times less if your not damaging anything, and not committing a felony, or making yourself a menace in general. Minors do not have the same rights as adult offenders, it works in your favor usually, but not always. Laws vary from state to state, and on a municipal level as well. This gives a rough guild to how the system might work: http://www.scselfs...juvdel/process.htm Outcomes are never a sure thing, best to avoid placing yourself in the system to begin with.

Not in all cases though. I had in writing some information which would of had me charged with possession, and instead I got charged with petit larceny. Minors generally, where I am located, will get off if an adult is with them. Not only in my case, but in several other peoples cases have they gotten off. I did nothing to be wrongfully charged. I was called to come back to where I lived, I went there without a problem, even arrested on the spot and told to walk back from the police station since I knew no one in the area to pick me up. Never even caused a problem. I did all the "yes sir" bs with the magistrate and got myself released as long as I showed up to court...3 days later. Just depends on where you are and the cop as to what they do.

| | | Speaking from experience (not mine, but a close friend's) it depends a lot on how you handle yourself. I know a kid was was 17 and got caught with a group of two other people putting superglue in all the locks at his highschool. (Please, don't tell me how stupid it was, I know, I have told him so a lot since) He was very penitent, the didn't get caught in the act but somone found out and before they even insinuated it was him he confessed to a security guard and the principal and offered to make amends. His friends on the other hand behaved like stereotypical destructive teenagers and were handled as such. They denied it, placed the blame on whoever they could, and were just unpleasant throughout the entire process. As a result they were charged with trespassing and destruction of public property and had to go to court, whereas my friend had a hearing and got like 50 hours of community service. That's the key to getting the cops off of your back... play along, take it in the butt (figuratively, of course)... Basically, you're better off than your older counterparts, assuming you dont look like a punk. I've never gotten more than a warning, and I've done my fair share of exploring. Don't worry about it, and make the most of your <18 years.

You hit it square on the mark FatLouie if the cops, feds, etc have you don't resist physically, or verbally. Enjoy your slice of humble pie. Chew well
