I always found the model produced by AOSafety to be pretty darn good. I've gone at a full run wearing one before and never had too many breathing problems.

You obviously don't know about this:
Or this , which could definately ask your question, even if couldn't.

| | | I've never used any other models, but I have the AOsafety one and I like it. It's pretty easy to breathe through.

Hmm, I barely even noticed a difference than with normal breathing. Than again, I've never used another respirator.

| | | If you want easy breathing, use a P100 pancake style filter. They are lightweight, too.

| | | Wearing these things aren't no fun. I've done it at work for days on end; they will make you stronger, they also sap energy while using them. Air-feed is the way to go, but this is not practical for most exploring. Don't wear one, or suck it up.

It is a lot easier to breathe through than most reg's I've used while scuba diving, that's the only thing I can really compare it to. [last edit 8/29/2006 1:22 AM by Chronos - edited 1 times]
