| | | Lots of good choices for this month though there's almost too much going on all at once to remotely see it all.
Check out the list of Doors Open events for September.

| | | Sir James Whitney School for the Deaf, Belleville. I've been meaning to check that place out since I went to Loyalist 8 years ago. Edit to add: If you're near Cornwall, go check out the jail (I'm not and won't, but I'd love to see photos). From the website: The administration building and former courthouse, with its noteworthy architecture, is one of the oldest surviving judicial structures still in use in Ontario. Tours will be conducted inside the historic jail, which opened in 1834 and closed in 2002. The cells and common areas are just as they were when the jail held inmates. Agreed on Sir James Whitney in Belleville. If you're extremely interested in the history of Camp X, by all means go. If you're expecting to see any buildings, on the other hand, don't bother. They were mostly all demolished years ago. The only one left now serves as the Camp X museum.
