No, this is not a thread about ghosts. I would not open that can of worms in here. Just wondering the location that the host "Vincent Chau" is standing in while delivering his dialogue. The show is funded by the ontario government and they give thanks to the Royal Meridien King Edward in the show so i take it the episodes are filmed in Toronto. My guess is that the location is not the hotel but i have never been to this hotel. It just seems a little empty and run down unless it is a vacant floor. he often walks by windows giving you a glance at the surrounding buildings

The picture probably doesnt help much but makes for a good starting point.

Check the DB for the King Edward Hotel entry, it will explain everything.

Thanks Manitou. I dont know Toronto very well and so i didnt realize the building was closed. Guess when i seen the thank you in the credits i assumed the place was still up and running. I learn something new everyday and delete several important details of my life to make room for it

The hotel is still open. It is only a small portion of the hotel that is closed off.

Any specific reason that only a small portion is closed ? Sounds a little weird that even if it didn't serve its old purpose maybe they could still find use for it somehow, storage or something.

It was closed due to fire code violations; it can not be evacuated quickly enough.
As for using it as storage, that would be a impractical since the passenger elevators are too small to hold much - there are no freight elevators at the King Edward - and elevator service to the ballroom has been cut off.
