| | | | | | Do You Prefer to Park OnSite or OffSite? < on 9/25/2006 8:27 PM >
| | | Do you prefer to park on the site you are exploring, or somewhere nearby and take a nice stoll in for that last mile? Myself, I am always worried that maybe the guard is just off taking dinner or something and might come back while I am inside. If he sees a new vechile parked on site, he may assume the person who put it there is now inside and calls for backup and waits at the vechile to see if I come back for it, thus giving me away AND cutting off my escape. Whats your thoughts on this?

| | | it completely depends on the site. with most sites though it seems that one runs a much lesser chance of being detected if one parks elsewheres.

| | | I have never parked on site. I believe driving a car to a site is asking for unwanted attention and greatly increases your chances of getting caught. I prefer to park away from the location and walk to the place. Also I like to pick a location where my car looks less conspicuous, by this I mean on a side street with a lot of houses that doesn't dead end or a parking lot. The only time I would ever consider parking on site is if parking anywhere near the site would look out of the norm, ie in a rural area.

| | | I don't want my car anywhere near the site. A good public place like a strip mall or resteraunt is prefered. Besides, my fat ass needs the excercise.

| | | I usually just steal a car and crash it into the place i plan on exploring. A. You don't have to walk. B. You solve the, "where to enter?" problem. C. You create a great diversion when the authorities come!
...
Seriously, though, i mostly park offsite, unless it's a location that's partially in use, that way my car isn't as conspicuous. I usually look to see if a parking permit is needed if i'm parking onsite at places such as the aforementioned. Other than that, a nice walk never hurt anyone.
