| | | i remember watching an awesome movie in chemistry about a bunch of lunatics that actually went inside the blown-to-bits part of the plant. it was a really neat video, but i have no clue where one might find it. are you speaking the plant itself or the town?

See: http://www.uer.ca/...id=8951&currpage=1 She is/was a fraud regarding Chernobyl. She has in reality been to some very interesting WW2 battlefields.

| | | There's couple of galleries in the LDB, but for some reason they are Full Members Only. Why? Like there was anything left to protect in Pripyat... Anyway, try Google with "Pripyat", "Exclusion zone" or "Chernobyl". More pictures than you'll ever need.

| | | I have to agree with Jeep on that. I am still in shock. Having lost both of my parents at a young age and seeing my girlfriend go thru losing her mother to cancer just makes me think alot. Life gets shorter as the days get long. You sit at work all day, waiting to go home. But you get home.. and there is nothing to do. Love life and live it. UE on the edge. Sorry if that was to deep.

| | | Wow, thanks for all the links. One of my dad's cousins from Estonia was a liquidator. All I know about it was that they had totally useless "protection" gear. I didn't feel up to asking him anything else about it when he came to visit. Anyway, some amazing photos.
I'll meet you by the third pyramid |

Having been very close to having cancer myself, I whole-heartedly agree! No, it was not too deep at all.. I wish my photos were as powerful as your words. I;m not sure i've seen something as sad as that link in my life... i'm gonna go cry some more......
