|  | | | On a serious day trip driving around all the nooks and crannies of Renfrew County we stumbled on this absolute jem by pure chance.
Its a ski hill that was active not that long ago. The main structure is that which houses the large engine that would've run the chair lift. There are a few other storage and utility buildings. The towers, wires, and chairs are still pretty much all intact, running a long distance up the hill. I wasn't feeling up to hiking all the way up the hill to see if there's anything at the top, but its quite likely there is some structure at the top where the chair lift ends. Quite an odd sight to see this place in the middle of the summer.

I don't live in the area but did some searching and it looks like it closed down in 2003 after the main chalet burned down.

| | | | I was up there last weekend. Nice spot. I didn't go up to the top either, I figured there wouldn't be much to see. There was also the empty house near the bottom of the hill as well, its in fairly good shape.
