thought i'd share with ya some photo's from these places... i know most of you have been, but thought i'd add my photos to the collection....

by the way photography is NOT my hobby....i couldn't get a decent shot if my life depended on it. so....the photo's suck...but i like em..

First of all....totally went in the offical urbexomobile....

you know the pictures old when i have blonde hair...what a MISTAKE! but....the mines behind me are pretty!

i don't remember the no trespassing sign...there for we weren't trespassing...right?

my friend standing down in the mine....

i love this photo.

one of the shaft thingers....

and my 2 photos from Eldorado (i wish i took way more pictures)

the creepy cemetary

okay...story about this photo....

we passed a sign it said "warning, road washed out" so the explorer i am i kept going...forgetting my air intake was at the lowest part of the car.... so my friend gets out...says its about a foot deep...

i put it for wheel drive and went for it....air intake took in water car stalled, and if i was going any slower, i woulda been pushed sideways...thankfully i hit the thing fast enough i sorta plowed through to the other side...but i got stuck at the other part thats washed out...where a river ran through.... but i made it home in one peice!

well thats all i got for the mines. got tones of photos of abandoned houses and stuff as well...but i know they've all been UE'd and stuff so i'm afraid i can't add much new and exciting stuff to this website!

again i'm not a photographer these are just photos i took aimlessly.

You know you could have just walked around the fence had you gone through the woods.

I should have kept this place secret.

Why are you posting photos your license plate online?

Contagion may be interested in going up your mud-trail. You should PM him.

The last time i was at the mine was with my dad and i must have been twelve or so. They had a lookout set up for the tourists types. Is it all closed off now?

You're joking, right? About the huge hole on Marmora Mine Road? Or are you talking about the farmhouse?

Actually my post wasn't entirely directed at the OP, though it surely seemed to be.

While local knowledge certainly becomes disseminated over time, I still must wonder, if it is so big and easy to find, then why were people not at this site earlier?

Frankly, I am just being a malcontent here. My attitude is the result of a personal gripe.

Just fyi, I'm not local, and first visited that mine somewhere around 1997~1998. Then again, I am exceptional. ;)

But, please, as I tend to be one myself, don't let me stop you with the malcontentedness.

yep.

Also OP is a basic member and didn't have access to aforementioned secret information.

Here's a lockpick. It might be handy if you, the master of unlocking, take it with you.
